Ferro is a strength-training app that doesn't ask you for an account, doesn't know your name, and doesn't track you. Your training log — sets, weights, goals, your level — is stored only on your device (in the app's local database, and in a private container shared with the home-screen widget so it can show your progress). It never leaves your iPhone.
What we don't collect
- No account, no sign-up, no email, no password.
- No name, age, weight, or anything about you on any server. Yes, the app asks for sex, bodyweight and age — but that stays on your iPhone, only to calculate your strength level. We never see it.
- No ads, no trackers, no third-party analytics SDKs (Google, Meta, etc.). None.
- No location, no contacts, no access to anything else on your device.
The one thing that leaves your device
We count how many times five anonymous actions happen, so we know whether the app is working: the paywall was shown, a purchase was made, someone chose to keep the free plan, a purchase was restored, onboarding was finished.
That is literally all that's sent — the event name, nothing else. No user ID, no device ID, and we don't store your IP address. It's an aggregate tally, like an odometer: impossible to tie back to you or your phone. It goes to our own small server, never to third parties. In development builds it isn't sent at all.
Purchases
The one-time "Unlimited" purchase is handled by Apple through its own payment system (StoreKit). Apple processes the payment — we never see your card or payment details. See Apple's Privacy Policy.
GDPR, in plain words
We don't process personal data. The only thing that leaves your iPhone — the anonymous counters — can't identify you, so it isn't "personal data" under the GDPR. No profiling, no data sales, no transfers.
Your right to deletion
The easiest one there is: delete the app, and there's nothing of ours left to delete. Your data lived on your iPhone; it leaves with it. And because the anonymous counters aren't linked to you, there's nothing to request or erase on our side.
Children
Ferro isn't directed at children under 13 and doesn't knowingly collect their data — it doesn't collect anyone's data.

Ferro es una app de fuerza que no te pide una cuenta, no sabe tu nombre y no te sigue. Tu registro de entrenamiento — series, pesos, objetivos, tu nivel — se guarda solo en tu dispositivo (en la base de datos local de la app, y en un contenedor privado compartido con el widget para que pueda mostrarte tu progreso). Nunca sale de tu iPhone.
Lo que no recogemos
- Sin cuenta, sin registro, sin email, sin contraseña.
- Sin nombre, edad, peso ni ningún dato tuyo en ningún servidor. Sí, la app te pide sexo, peso corporal y edad — pero eso se queda en tu iPhone, solo para calcular tu nivel de fuerza. No lo vemos.
- Sin publicidad, sin rastreadores, sin SDK de analítica de terceros (Google, Meta, etc.). Ninguno.
- Sin tu ubicación, sin contactos, sin acceso a nada más de tu dispositivo.
Lo único que sale del dispositivo
Contamos cuántas veces ocurren cinco acciones anónimas, para saber si la app funciona: se mostró el muro de pago, se compró, alguien siguió con el plan gratis, se restauró una compra, se completó el onboarding.
Eso es literalmente todo lo que se envía — el nombre del evento, nada más. Sin tu ID, sin ID de dispositivo, y no guardamos tu dirección IP. Es un contador agregado, como un cuentakilómetros: imposible de ligar a ti o a tu teléfono. Va a nuestro propio servidor, nunca a terceros. En las versiones de desarrollo ni siquiera se envía.
Compras
La compra única "Ilimitado" la gestiona Apple con su propio sistema de pago (StoreKit). Apple procesa el cobro — nosotros no vemos ni tu tarjeta ni tus datos de pago. Consulta la política de privacidad de Apple.
RGPD, en cristiano
No procesamos datos personales. Lo único que sale de tu iPhone — los contadores anónimos — no puede identificarte, así que no es "dato personal" bajo el RGPD. Sin perfilado, sin venta de datos, sin transferencias.
Tu derecho de eliminación
El más fácil del mundo: borra la app y no queda nada nuestro que borrar. Tus datos estaban en tu iPhone; se van con ella. Y como los contadores anónimos no están ligados a ti, no hay nada que solicitar ni suprimir por nuestra parte.
Niños
Ferro no está dirigida a menores de 13 años y no recoge datos de ellos a sabiendas — no recoge datos de nadie.
Cambios
Si algo de esto cambia, actualizaremos esta página. La fecha de arriba te dice cuándo.
